The Canon Rebel T3i is brand spankin' new, and, in a word, it is creative.

It seems that Canon has the interests of new digital SLR owners in mind when developing the T3i, as they have added certain features that must really be attractive to the unfamiliar DSLR camera owner.

Most folks buy a new digital SLR camera for two reasons. In the first place, everyone is aware that the image quality of a DSLR camera is better than a compact digital camera. However, the capability to switch lenses is another excellent motive for buying a digital SLR camera.

The Canon Rebel T3i appears to be pretty much like the T2i, and it contains the same basic hardware as its elder sibling. This includes the all important image sensor and image processor. The basics have not been enhanced measurably with the exception of the LCD screen, which is currently an articulating panel rather than a stationary panel.

The real differences come in the camera software which has been tremendously enhanced with the addition of some very creative possibilities that do not exist on any of the former Rebel models.

One of those new features is the "Green Square." On the top mode dial, there is a new button that is green, hence the name Green Square. When you set the camera on the Green Square, you essentially give the camera Carte Blanche for control. The camera will make some extremely crucial decisions concerning light and sharpness to produce the very best picture possible. And you don't need to do anything but frame and shoot. The Green Square name may or may not stick. The politically correct term for the green square is "Scene Intelligent Auto." It is pretty much the same as the Intelligent Auto setting on many high end compact digital cameras.

Scene Intelligent Auto visually examines the area of composition and makes decisions about camera settings. This makes it easy for new DSLR owners to get great shots right out of the box.

However that's not all. By setting the mode dial on one of the Basic Zone modes, you can access the Basic+ choices in the Quick Control screen in the LCD display. There are two different options to choose from once you access the Basic+ screen. You can choose Ambience settings or the Lighting/Scene Type settings. Again, the camera uses the built-in software to make important decisions concerning the settings for individual images, making you look like a real creative pro.

Knowing that this camera has all the same features as the more professional cameras should make the T3i very interesting to those who are considering their beginning digital SLR, in particular if the hope of advancing to a more advanced camera is the final goal.

The best part is that a new photographer can feel much more comfortable knowing that he can "ease" into the digital SLR learning curve. Getting the settings right, when in doubt, can be left up to the camera. Then time can be spent leisurely learning when the shots are not critical.

Canon has taken the pressure off by giving new photographers convenience along with professional features.

The Canon Rebel T3i (EOS 600D) gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to digital SLR photography. Click here --> www.canonrebelt3i600d.com<-- to see more.
